Le Café de l'Orangerie is one of those super relaxing little spots hidden inside the Jardin des Plantes. You can grab a coffee or lunch surrounded by plants and huge trees, and the terrace feels like a quiet escape right in the middle of Nantes. Perfect after a walk through the garden.

I enjoyed the food, fast friendly service and the price of my lunch visit. I loved the main dish of Pork/soy with carrot mousseline. Lemon curd with not so sweet cheesecake worked great and the salmon paired with Grannysmith apple for an appetizer was tasty, interesting, although small:) Highly recommend! Staff speak English.

We hadn't booked, and despite the crowd on the terrace, they found us a table. The set menu was excellent, and the service was quick. We didn't have dessert because we had a train to catch. The setting in the garden is stunning.

A perfect little tea room/restaurant in every way! Located in the heart of the botanical garden, next to the old 19th-century greenhouses, everything is delicious, made on-site, and served with care and a smile. The simple interior decor makes you feel right at home, and there's a large outdoor terrace overlooking the gardens. A must-stop when visiting this historic garden! 🤗 Thank you again for this little slice of paradise 💝

A friendly place for lunch or an evening aperitif, without having to go into town. Lunch is very good value for money. On Friday evenings, it's burgers, with a vegetarian option available. The staff are very friendly and offer great advice for discovering new beers or making purchases! For a lunch break or enjoying a beer before dinner, I highly recommend it! On Friday evenings, you can get hamburgers (vegetarian version available), which is very convenient, and there's a new recipe every month. There are also a few snacks available for happy hour. We always have a great time there; I highly recommend it!
