Café De Paris sur Chateauroux

Very nice meal, quick and pleasant service 🙂

The fish and chips were really not great, probably prepared by inexperienced cooks. The crudités platter with goat cheese was okay, but nothing special. The dessert was good, with a lightly sweetened cream.

Very polite staff, prompt service, good coffee and delicious croissants.

Lovely terrace! We were greeted quickly, and the server was friendly and welcoming – a nice touch. Good selection of draft beers.

That's exactly right, a bit too much for the price.

There are always a few drunks around or occasional fights and disagreements. Please note, it is a very public busy area and thus, extremely noisy! Service and bartenders... Honestly - there are some I avoid if I see them working. You've got 2 out of 7 for example, who give you top notch service... But then you got the other 4 who either don't care, who don't pay attention, who give you poor service and that's really sad as it ruins your day sitting under a parasol, enjoying the weather and it goes for the bartenders. Usually 2 at a time. Some are rude and unhelpful and then you got the rare one who is friendly and courteous it's like playing poker - you don't know who works that they unless you make the rounds and see who's on the schedule

Pleasant and courteous welcome, quick service despite a busy day. Fair prices.

Very friendly welcome, fresh and homemade products, I recommend this place

Our first impression was a little mixed due to the wait. After being shown to a table, nearly 20 minutes passed without anyone taking our order. We finally had to go back inside to ask if someone could take our order. We were politely told that someone would be coming soon… Fortunately, what followed completely changed our impression! Once our order was taken, we discovered delicious, generous, and lavishly served dishes. A special mention goes to our very pleasant and attentive waitress, who apologized several times for the wait, which we truly appreciated. Despite this slight hiccup at the start, we were particularly impressed by the quality of the food and the friendly service. We will gladly return! 😊

Hearty and tasty dishes. Staff always friendly and attentive to customer requests. Brasserie right in the city center. A bit noisy when it's full.
