Cafe de Plaisance sur Beziers

Very good, tasty menu. Inexpensive. Absolutely recommended. With a view of the Canal du Midi lock. Unfortunately there is a busy intersection in front of the bar.

After a not very interesting boat trip, we stumbled upon this café at the end of the quay of Port Neuf. A pretty shaded terrace and a place off the tourist trail and out of time which is worth stopping there. We ate very well among tables reserved by locals who seemed to appreciate the place. And we understand... the dishes are copious, well presented and delicious. The service is family-friendly, jovial and the café dog who passes among the customers is adorable and our daughter really liked it. A place to recommend to tourists looking for authenticity and calm during the summer.

We unfortunately had to eat very quickly as we had booked a tour, but we would have liked to have had more time to enjoy this little canalside restaurant. All the dishes we ate were very good. Special mention to the roasted camembert and lemon mousse which we really liked. The service is dynamic and friendly.

Place discovered by chance during a bike ride. What a great discovery. We took a trip back in time with this brasserie that has remained in its original state (vintage decor) and this delicious traditional cuisine. THANKS !

While passing through the region, we were charmed by this place and the atmosphere there. However, we were disappointed with the service and the incompetence of the waitress, despite her smile and her kindness, she came back several times to ask us what we had ordered... it would have been so much simpler to note this would have avoided this meal drags on...that the neighboring tables are not cleared and invaded by bees... Really a shame because the food is very good and the place is very nice.

Vintage café restaurant as you wish...terrace in the shade of the plane trees with the song of the cicadas....and yes it's summer😎...just a stone's throw from the canal...A friendly and friendly welcome... and a cuisine that I loved, especially my Thai-style beef tartare: a delight. A big thank you to the whole team...Thank you to a place like this for continuing to live and exist...😍
