The servers were pleasant. The prices are excessive for the quality and quantity of the dishes. The linguine served with razor clams and shellfish jus was very good. The monkfish served with risotto and American sauce was also good. The main problem with this restaurant, and it's not the only one on this list, is the price of the appetizers, main courses, and other dishes on the menu.

The welcome was warm, and the seasonal staff were attentive. Well done, young people! The quality was below expectations: bagged green salad, a few small vegetables on the side... it was a bit meager.

Perfect dinner at this restaurant. The waiter was absolutely charming. The fish and vegetables were cooked to perfection. The quality of the ingredients was excellent. The setting was very elegant. I highly recommend it 🤩. (The best floating island I've had in a long time)

The seafood sauerkraut was excellent! The restaurant staff were friendly and pleasant despite the packed Pentecost weekend. I highly recommend this establishment.

Hello, the presentation of the dishes is nonexistent. The quality is rather average. The price is completely disproportionate to the quality of the food served. There's an incentive to order the expensive dishes by pricing them per 100g without specifying the actual weight.

Have seen some bad reviews but we have eaten here twice in the last few months and it has been marvelous every time and in all respects—do recommend you sit inside for a better experience.

24/06/2026: A fantastic evening celebrating the venue's 25th anniversary (which I know well, being a Saint-Malo resident). What a wonderful evolution since 2001! Top-quality artists and drinks 👍. Haters be damned, Le 109 is a must-visit if you want to experience Saint-Malo's nightlife.

02/05/2026: Don't read the negative reviews. No idea what they're on about. The food was lovely, the waiter was absolutely fantastic! A total sweetheart, helped us find the right thing for us, even changed up a menu item for an allergy, and then when we were too full for dessert he offered to make us something to take home for breakfast!! Food was a nice speed and delicious, staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, definitely would recommend! FYI we had the scallops and snails to start, then steak on the €28 menu
02/05/2026: Food and wine were lovely; escargot, scallops, and ribeye, and a carafe of Cote De Rhône with impeccable and wonderfully attentive service.
