Small place. Nothing fancy. Very tradicional and super delicious food. Very cozy. Really recomendo if you looking for something very traditional

Café des Artisans is a Bouchon, a traditional type of Restaurant unique to Lyon and it is one of the last few authentic ones left. Mère Muriel, the one running the place is Chef and Server at once, every day she creates a traditional Lyonnaise meal consisting of Appetizer, Main Course, and Dessert to be served for that day, there is no menu. I had that meal and some wine and paid 25€, very affordable, great food and a nice experience.

How wonderful it is to eat in a real bouchon! The food is simple yet perfectly cooked. Muriel and the kind gentleman who served us are genuine, true to themselves. The aroma and atmosphere, the people eating at the next table, we laugh together... and I discovered gnafron! Great aperitif 👌 I'll definitely be back.
