Arrived at this bar/crêperie on a 40° day and was welcomed by lovely owners with a cold drink and ice cream. I can see why they have been there for so many years!

The owners are absolutely charming and the welcome is very warm! Opt for ice cream rather than crepes in this heat, and don't hesitate to strike up a conversation over a small glass of cider!

Cafe des arts is my favourite restaurant in the whole of France. The food is phenomenal every time, and I have been coming here for years. It’s great value and the service is amazing - it’s always so lovely to see such friendly faces. My favourite is the mr seguin salad, and the carbonara which is cooked to perfection. The sweet crepes are also a highlight. I look forward to returning every year and would recommend to everyone!

Ideally located in the hills above Penne, this intimate restaurant is run by a very friendly couple! The menu is simple, but the dishes are well-prepared and generous, all at very reasonable prices.
We'll be back!

We love this place and have been quite a few times over the years. Food is amazing and very reasonably priced. Great salads, Omelettes, crepes savoury and sweet also Bolognese and Carbonara. As previous reviews have mentioned, the couple that run the place are so friendly and welcoming. Today the 3 of us had Salmon crepe, Omelette, Salad with feta etc then Ice creams- and a Crepe 89 …. Lovely coffee - All amazing !! Than you Jean-Paul and Carole.

What a fabulous find in this pretty historic village perched on a hill. A lovely warm welcome from friendly hosts who brought our over heated dog a large bowl of water and helpfully explained the menu options in English. The salmon salad was amazing, refreshing lemon based sorbet in the centre really made it something exceptional, together with tasty crepes to follow!
Definitely recommend a visit.

We received a warm welcome, the salads were excellent, and so was the dessert. I highly recommend Café des Arts. Remember to book ahead, as it fills up quickly 😊
