While passing through Aix-les-Bains, we discovered this restaurant. A very warm welcome and excellent wine recommendations. We had a ribeye steak with chanterelles and a chuck roast with mashed potatoes. Wow, what food! The meat was tender and flavorful. The homemade fries and mashed potatoes were a real treat! What a pleasure to eat in a place where people are passionate about their work. I don't often leave reviews, but it's important to give a shout-out when something is good and delicious.

A true escape into a cozy, old-fashioned atmosphere, the decor reminiscent of a country house, comforting dishes from our childhood, bursting with authentic, authentic flavors! A feast for the eyes and the palate. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive! Thank you!

Exceptional restaurant. Fresh, local produce and French meat to enjoy to your heart's content. Very friendly staff. The ambiance, service, and cuisine are flawless. Delicious homemade desserts, including a gluten-free Valrhona chocolate fondant. A must-try.

21/08/2026: We were looking for a restaurant for two in Aix-les-Bains and, after reading the many positive reviews for L’Évasion, we decided to make a reservation. And we were so glad we did! From the moment we arrived, we felt at ease. Seated on the terrace, we appreciated the calm and pleasant atmosphere, despite the nearby foot traffic. The service was very professional, attentive, and efficient. As for the food, it was excellent: refined, flavorful, and beautifully presented dishes. A wonderful discovery and a place we highly recommend. Definitely worth trying if you're ever in Aix-les-Bains.

11/10/2026: A fantastic place! I popped in on a whim because the menu offered a great selection of crêpes and salads, with salads even available in two sizes. The owner, who also works as a chef in the open kitchen, was very welcoming and genuine. I asked him if it could be quick, which I felt a little awkward about, because if you want a good meal, you should allow yourself some time. Nevertheless, he reacted in a totally relaxed and friendly manner and actually brought me a super tasty salad in no time at all. I think it's not easy to make a really good salad, but this one was fresh, filling, well-balanced, with a delicious dressing – simply fantastic! I think the real specialty of this restaurant is the crêpes, which I unfortunately didn't get to try. They looked delicious at the next table, and above all, they smelled incredibly tempting. This wonderful place has once again confirmed for me that it's often the smaller restaurants on the side streets that shine with quality and dedication.
