Lunch for three. Refined and original cuisine. I had a flank steak with more than three sides—delicious! Professional and friendly service. They even created a children's menu and an impromptu dessert for my little one, changing what was on the menu. Apparently, this is considered heretical practice in Aix-les-Bains, judging by the various comments in three other restaurants. No menu.

Excellent cuisine, an explosion of flavors, a delight for the taste buds... still amazed by the originality of the dishes. The chef showcases all the ingredients on the plate, for example, in the tomato appetizer where each component—skin, pulp, seeds, and juice—is transformed into ice cream, mousseline, coulis, and other preparations, revealing the full richness of the tomato with great creativity—impressive! This is a place where you should let yourself be surprised, trusting the waitress who captivated us with her explanations, recommendations, and enthusiasm. The warm and attentive service made all the difference; bravo to her, and thank you for your smile and kindness.

We had a great meal at L’évasion. The ambiance was lovely and the food was amazing. We got the sea bass and the flank steak, both which were cooked perfectly and accompanied by equally flavorful sides of risotto (which was the best I’ve ever had), steak frites, and ratatouille. We booked ahead which was very easy and the owner took great care of us. Highly recommend trying the desserts as well - the pistachio mousse encased by a choux pastry was a perfect ending to the meal.
