What a great find! I discovered this little community café while strolling through the neighborhood, and what a pleasant surprise! Their coffee, and especially their hot chocolate, is delicious—without exaggeration, the best I've ever tasted. So, for €2.50, I could easily have ten! 🤤 Anyway, I highly recommend it! I also saw that they organize small concerts. If that's not fantastic, I don't know what is!

A small, community-run café nestled in the heart of Rue des Rosiers, intimately linked to the work of the OSE (Oeuvre de Secours aux Enfants), where everyone mingles in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The waitresses and waiters are volunteers. The hot chocolate is as delicious as it is inexpensive. A living piece of Yiddish cultural history, it hosts numerous conferences, debates, and exhibitions, as well as concerts. You'll encounter seasoned intellectuals alongside long-time residents, each a living memory of the neighborhood, all equally important to the life of the place. And let's never forget that "whoever saves a life saves humanity."

The cheapest coffee in Paris. A great atmosphere with very friendly staff in a Jewish setting, just the way we like it. Enjoy the delicious hot chocolate in winter; I highly recommend it.
