Café des sports sur La Rochefoucauld

I highly recommend this place. We had a wonderful time. The local cuisine, fast service, and delicious, crunchy dishes are worth noting – don't hesitate!

We stumbled upon this place by chance, without a reservation. It was peak season. The welcome was warm. The food was homemade, the local meat was amazing. The dishes were delicious and generous. And the pavlovas...wow! Highly recommended. We, from the Aude region, will be back!

A quick stop on your way back from Haute-Savoie, heading towards Charente-Maritime, I recommend taking the exit off the highway at La Rochefoucauld where you'll discover excellent cuisine and a super friendly, warm welcome... Don't change a thing, you're doing great. Well done! Laurence and Fred.

We came in on a whim. We found a small bistro on a quiet side street. It had a pleasant terrace. We ordered mussels and fries, chorizo ​​croquettes, a cheese plate, and lemon meringue. The croquettes were different from what we're used to. The mussels and fries were a generous portion. The service was excellent. The restrooms were clean. Thank you, and I recommend this little café.

We're regulars at Café des Sports, and for us, it's without a doubt the best place to eat and have a drink in La Rochefoucauld. The atmosphere is warm, the service is always welcoming, and you can tell the owners are passionate about the village. They regularly organize events and concerts in a friendly and respectful atmosphere for the locals. As for the food, everything is prepared with fresh ingredients, often sourced from local producers. It's much more like a restaurant than a bar that just serves side dishes. The recipes are well-crafted, and it shows in the food: it's homemade, well-cooked, generous, and truly excellent! The beers on tap are good, with often some interesting new additions. The prices are very reasonable, and in our opinion, the value for money is hard to beat. Finally, Café des Sports' location on this small square is very pleasant, near the magnificent Château de La Rochefoucauld. Whether you live in the area or are just passing through, the Café des Sports is a must-visit to experience the friendly and authentic atmosphere of La Rochefoucauld. An address we recommend without hesitation.
