Café du Centre sur Montcuq

I had a Menu du Jour comprising Rosette de Lyon, steak et fries and a superb Mousse au Chocolat. I could not have been more happy with the quality and the price of €16.50. Stake was the only option, and not one I would normally go for given a choice, but it was served sliced and was perfect. I've been dog sitting outside Montcuq on and off over a month for absent friends. This café - and the bistrot opposite - represent really good value and the cooks / proprietors of both are smiley types with similarly helpful smiley staff.

A wonderful discovery! A small, very clean establishment, a warm welcome, and congratulations to the chef for the excellent quality of the ingredients. Bravo! We will gladly return.

Lunch break this afternoon, we ate very well. The duck breast was delicious and generous, cooked perfectly (pink). The local beer was also very good. The staff is very pleasant.
