Cafe Du Centre sur Bayonne

Last Friday we had the set menu with a starter and a main course. The starter was a crispy vegetable and cheese dish with a pepper sauce, which was delicious. Beautifully presented and very tasty. The main course was a piece of hake on rice with vegetables and a fish sauce. We were served by a young man and woman who were incredibly kind. We don't speak French, and they made a real effort to communicate with us. Much appreciated. Delicious food, very well presented, and a great atmosphere. You couldn't ask for more.

Right in the heart of Bayonne, next to the market and the river. Very attentive, efficient, and friendly service. The establishment has a large terrace for eating and/or having drinks, and a few tables inside. They offer a varied menu and a daily special for €12, a half menu for €15, or a full menu for €18. Drinks are not included. The food is well-prepared, beautifully presented, and the portions are generous. It's a very pleasant place to eat when the weather is nice. Good value for money.

A quick lunch break for tourists. Very friendly staff, quick service despite a full terrace. Delicious daily menu and really affordable prices. They even have a children's menu for families, which is always a plus!

A wonderful discovery. The food is homemade, everything is fresh and delicious, and it's in a lovely setting across from the covered market. The service is professional, efficient, and very friendly. We highly recommend it.
