The place is very nice, it has 2 floors and a terrace and beautiful views of the Nive river or the town hall. It took them about 20 minutes to take note of what we wanted and then 1 hour to serve us the order. In addition, they brought us the bill without having finished serving some desserts. The food was good, the portions are generous, but not as generous as waiting 1 hour. The place was quite full, but we saw people coming in later than us and leaving earlier.

The food is very good, quality dishes in reasonable quantities in a pleasant setting, but some servers would do better to change jobs or review their sense of hospitality.

Excellent we discovered dishes that we did not know and superb discovery, well stocked, and when it is noted home fries it is indeed home fries not like some other restaurants.

An institution in the heart of downtown Bayonne. A grilled camembert as a starter with belly chips, followed by candied pork cheek and fries (and not just a little...) a coffee for dessert will do the trick because there's more room for a sweet treat. All for less than €35. (With a large bottle of St Pellegrino)
It's best to book because it's a small room so it fills up quickly, you just need a little background of jazzy music to be at your best.
I recommend this address with my eyes closed.
