[Road Trip 66 in Ariège] Today, after exploring the underground river of "Labouïche," we stopped here for lunch. Before heading to the Château. The menu looked tempting, the cheerful waiter was very friendly, and the setting was truly superb with a view of the Saint-Volusien Abbey Church under this beautiful sunshine. So, we had two delicious pork carbonnade stews in beer (so flavorful, kudos to the cook!) followed by blueberry tart and tiramisu, homemade of course! 😋 We thoroughly enjoyed the beer 🍻 with dessert, and thanks again for the "AdBlue" which was the perfect finishing touch to the meal 😂 Highly recommended, and we look forward to returning on our next trip to Foix! 🚙🌳 Have a wonderful day! 😁👍

Super friendly welcome! We arrived before lunchtime service, and they offered us paper and markers to keep our 2.5-year-old entertained (he was getting restless! 😅). He even had the honor of eating in the owner's old high chair. Then the dishes arrived: quality ingredients, well-prepared! Even the steak on the children's menu was excellent! Great value for money and a warm welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant! (Lots of reservations from locals that lunchtime; they know where to eat for their break.) All the best!

An authentic experience in France. The waiter Jules was very friendly and attentive. The menu is very good. We ordered the duck gizzard salad and the country pate. Both were brutal, but be prepared for the seconds. The duck confit and the pork carbonade, very tasty And both with French fries, not frozen. The friendliness of the waiter is already worth eating here, and the menu is spectacular. Highly recommended.
