06/10/2026: We had a very, very good octopus meal and drank a crisp white wine. It's a Portuguese restaurant, and we arrived early, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to get a table. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, especially since we hardly speak any French, let alone Portuguese. Highly recommended.

Hotel Restaurant Lons

29/05/2026: We visited Hotel Lons for two nights as part of a visit to the cave of Niaux and Foix castle. The staff, especially Mr Chaubert, were very kind in assisting to reserve a taxi and make dinner reservations. The hotel is very well-located walking distance from the train station and is in an area with many restaurants, shops, and attractions that are within walking distance as well. The rooms are comfortable and pretty. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and the patio overlooking the river is a peaceful place to enjoy coffee or drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hotel Lons and hope to make a return visit next summer to see the sights that we missed this time.
29/05/2026: I have a fibroid. Every woman who has experienced this knows how difficult it is.
The manager of this hotel singled me out because I had the misfortune of having a heavy period the day before and kicked me out of the hotel.
A woman.
Therefore, I do not recommend this hotel to menstruating women.
A disgrace.

03/10/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience at Grilladou.
Unfortunately, the meal was subpar: the meat was very tough to eat, full of gristle, and had a very rubbery texture. The wait was also particularly long.
What disappointed me most was the lack of professionalism right to the end: no "goodbye" when I left. I was also surprised to see the chef in Bermuda shorts, then going off to have a beer with his friends while the service wasn't over.
A disappointing experience, both in terms of the food and the service.
02/10/2026: An excellent experience! The food was so delicious and the service was warm and welcoming. I especially appreciated the attention given to my child.
The atmosphere was pleasant and friendly, even homely.
We had a great time, thank you!
