Very good, light, and fresh.
Picanha: Good quality beef, well-seasoned, good quality potatoes, cooked perfectly.
Octopus Carpaccio:
Very fresh with a subtle and delicious sauce; the diced salad was also very good.
Very friendly and welcoming service.
03/07/2026: We had a fantastic time at Guarana. The staff are really friendly and very welcoming. The food is delicious, and the set menus are great value.
The service is very smooth, even on a busy market day. A great experience, thank you!

01/06/2026: Quite disappointed with our visit. The waiter was smiling but not attentive, and inevitably, mistakes were made.
The wait was interminable, and the prices are exorbitant considering the quality of the food, which, while homemade, didn't live up to the price. Almost €60 for a starter, main course, and dessert including deviled eggs, leek lasagna, and crème brûlée… even in Paris, they don't charge those prices. It's a shame, but we won't be back.
25/05/2026: Excellent value for money, a delight for the taste buds, and a magnificent view of the castle. And let's not forget the quality of the service 👍🏻 A must-visit restaurant during our stays in Foix.

27/07/2026: We stumbled upon this place on the day the Tour de France passed through Foix. It was a scorching day, but the natural coolness inside this beautiful historic building was wonderful. A restaurant like no other... The owner gave us a very warm welcome, and the menu was simple yet generous and delicious, with the added bonus of a very good draft beer and, for dessert, the owner's own chocolate cream! A truly wonderful, timeless experience... We'll be back! Ghislaine (born in Foix)

14/07/2026: First of all, the food was delicious! In fact, it was so good that me and my girlfriend decided to order another portion for us (the boyfriend ate it all). The waiting time was standard, and the atmosphere was nice. The staff were friendly but we could tell that they were in a rush. Before leaving, they gave us a smile.
27/06/2026: The initial reception was a bit mixed. The sushi and wakame salad were good, however, I was unpleasantly surprised to receive chicken stir-fried noodles containing spaghetti instead of real Asian noodles – a bit disappointing for a restaurant that claims to be Asian. The taste was bland and the portion was ridiculously small for pasta.

Hotel Restaurant Lons

29/05/2026: We visited Hotel Lons for two nights as part of a visit to the cave of Niaux and Foix castle. The staff, especially Mr Chaubert, were very kind in assisting to reserve a taxi and make dinner reservations. The hotel is very well-located walking distance from the train station and is in an area with many restaurants, shops, and attractions that are within walking distance as well. The rooms are comfortable and pretty. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and the patio overlooking the river is a peaceful place to enjoy coffee or drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hotel Lons and hope to make a return visit next summer to see the sights that we missed this time.
29/05/2026: I have a fibroid. Every woman who has experienced this knows how difficult it is.
The manager of this hotel singled me out because I had the misfortune of having a heavy period the day before and kicked me out of the hotel.
A woman.
Therefore, I do not recommend this hotel to menstruating women.
A disgrace.
