We went for lunch on Saturday at the Café du Commerce in Lyons-la-Forêt and were pleasantly surprised by the welcome and service. The lunch was also excellent and very affordable. We went back in the evening for a drink, and the atmosphere was just as friendly. I highly recommend this place.

La Licorne Royale

01/03/2026: Excellent stay at the Hotel La Licorne, booked through Verychic (night + dinner + breakfast + spa). A warm welcome and very pleasant staff, a spacious and well-appointed room with a view of the medieval town center, beautifully presented dishes at dinner in an elegant setting, a generous breakfast, and finally, a small swimming pool that we could enjoy even after returning the keys, for one last moment of relaxation before hitting the road again. I highly recommend it!

28/12/2025: The food was wonderfully fragrant. There were two of us, and we each tasted our respective dishes; they were all excellent. It's exactly what you expect from a bistronomic restaurant: simple cuts of meat and vegetables elevated by flavorful cooking. The service was pleasant, unpretentious, and friendly, with a touch of humor. We had a very enjoyable time.
