Arrived around noon, Sunday 23, to warm up with a coffee (we were on a motorbike). Lots of people, few free tables. Despite our non-reservation, a table was given to us, and ultimately we stayed to eat: andouillette - fries, brioche, coffee. Fast service, smile, good food. No great cuisine of course, just what you need to have a good time. Consider stopping there, even if you haven't booked hopefully you will stay.....

It is noon, the service is launched. Two winter team bikers, we come in for a coffee. A table is dismantled, we sit down and enjoy our hot drink... The plates served at adjacent tables prompt us to inquire: "I only have one unreserved table left..." It will be for us. Andouillette mustard sauce fries, desserts, coffee... We had a great time and were very well received by the whole team! I will come back and advise without worry!

Nice local bar & restaurant in the centre of the village. There's a restaurant area towards the rear of the premises which was closed when we visited in October 2024. Then there's the main bar area plus a large area outside with plenty of seating. Nice atmosphere. Pretty village. It was very busy when we visited. The service was good and the waiter was friendly. Only drinks on this occasion. Level 9 Google reviewer; 1,000 plus reviews with nearly 2 million views and over 12,000 photos with over 55 million views and still going strong 💪. Personnel accueillant. Ce n'est pas gastronomique mais suffisant pour un rapport qualité prix à 19.5€ pour entrée plat ou plat dessert avec 4 choix d'entrées, 4 choix de plats, 6 choix de desserts.

Avant la visite de l'Abbaye de Mortemer, déjeuner en solo à Lyons la forêt dans ce café restaurant fort sympathique et sans chichis. L'équipe est accueillante et dynamique. De la cuisine dont la petite sonnette annonce les plats prêts à servir à l'assiette généreuse rapidement présentée, c'est une belle dynamique à l'aspect familiale au service des clients qui fait plaisir à voir et qui va de pair avec la qualité des produits. En prime un sanitaire nickel, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas ailleurs et qui en dit long sur l'esprit des proprios ! Merci, continuez comme ça, ne lâchez rien! 🙏

20/08/2024: Beautiful rooms with great amenities and good bedding, room facing the street but very quiet and beautiful view of the village. Spa OK, beautiful swimming pool, sauna OK, hammam HS. Helpful staff. Joint reception of the two hotels in another building is not very serious, especially since the staff accompanies each customer to their room so there is a lot of waiting when people arrive at the same time (which is often the case??! ). Catering at prohibitive prices (including bistro and lounge) but you are prisoners of their monopoly on the village. PdJ (€20) shameful: Nespresso coffee, 1 jam, 2 hams (the latter of course quality, but a more limited choice than at Formula 1).

15/09/2024: A restaurant to visit, excellent food
15/08/2024: Typically Norman romantic setting while remaining very chic. The welcome was very smiling, pleasant and attentive. The impeccable and sophisticated meal. We can also see the chef and the brigade through the half-timbering, who move around in the kitchen. I particularly enjoyed the crispy pork which was to die for.
