This is a fantastic place. One of the most beautiful villages in france, with a lot of history and a charming beautifully renovated old hotel, with easy parking and even with pool and spa in another building. Also, with a top class restaurant serving very delicious dining. Very nice and helpful staff. Highly recommended

I booked a weekend with the spa, dinner, and overnight package. The place is very charming, located in a pretty village. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant, dinner was delicious, and the room was very nice. We had a wonderful stay.

Excellent stay at the Hotel La Licorne, booked through Verychic (night + dinner + breakfast + spa). A warm welcome and very pleasant staff, a spacious and well-appointed room with a view of the medieval town center, beautifully presented dishes at dinner in an elegant setting, a generous breakfast, and finally, a small swimming pool that we could enjoy even after returning the keys, for one last moment of relaxation before hitting the road again. I highly recommend it!

A very pleasant hotel, ideally located in the heart of Lyons-la-Forêt. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is very friendly and attentive, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. We were fortunate enough to dine at the Michelin-starred restaurant La Licorne Royale, and it was simply magical! An exceptional gastronomic experience, full of finesse and emotion, from beginning to end. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to explore the spa and pool, but the grounds are truly magnificent and make us want to return very soon to fully enjoy them. We'll definitely be back.

13/09/2026: A wonderful bistronomic discovery. While staying at the hotel, we decided to dine in for dinner. The starter was a samosa with a lassi, sublime in its simplicity and flavor. The main course was slow-cooked Bray chicken with a delicious sauce and fresh pea leaf purée—simple yet perfectly executed. For dessert, soft and crispy French toast with warm white grapes and a small scoop of vanilla ice cream was a delight. The generous portion was a perfect way to end the meal. All of this was accompanied by a perfectly paired carafe of Chardonnay. In short, I highly recommend it, especially for €75.

22/08/2026: Always a warm welcome, whether for lunch or a refreshing drink on the terrace. The cuisine isn't gourmet, but it's home-style cooking with fresh ingredients; you'll leave happy with your meal. The owner and servers work hard, much to the delight of the customers. A reliable address that I highly recommend in Lyons-la-Forêt.
