A perfectly ordinary café/bar, right in the heart of town. You sit comfortably under the trees, directly on the street (there isn't much traffic), and the lively, friendly owner carries every drink from the bar across the street, chatting with half the town, spreading a cheerful, vibrant atmosphere. I had two coffees and a pain au chocolat, both good and very reasonably priced (€3.30 for coffee and pain).

A very warm welcome, with a charming accent. The owner is a little gem from the south, full of energy. A true little paradise in France 🥰

28/06/2026: I've been a regular at La Campana for years, and whenever I go back to Paris, I dream of this small, almost intimate restaurant with Nico, the Chef-Owner, who makes truly delicious and varied cuisine cooked over a wood fire. He loves his work and gives his all to delight his customers. This year, he's added a delicious, fresh, and subtle gazpacho to his starters—perfect for this summer heat. Oh, and you absolutely must try his caramelized onions—they're divine! The atmosphere is very friendly, and the service and waitress were excellent. I love it!

28/07/2026: A very warm welcome, a daily special and a very affordable menu, professional service. A lovely terrace under the plane trees.
21/07/2026: Excellent Mediterranean food. We had tomatoes with basil and mozzarella, grilled squid (chef's specialty) and Salade Gambas among other great stuff. And the Chardonnay - which our friendly and knowledgeable waitress recommended - was a perfect match. On top of that we got the best seats in the house (on the balcony) with a perfect view of the square and the semifinal between France and Spain
