We had lunch at the Café du Jura yesterday afternoon. Be careful, I think it is better to book in advance because the restaurant fills up quickly! A discovery made thanks to social networks. You enter and you take a leap in time in this typically Lyonnais cork! Pleasant service, a suggestion that made our mouths water and indeed top-notch cuisine (small mention for the praline tart)! Coming from Brittany, it was our second time in Lyon and we had already tested these famous corks. I rank Café du Jura in the top 1 and would not hesitate to return there if the opportunity arises 😉

We were very well received. The terrine is delicious, the steak tender and the shallot sauce delicious, very good andouillette too. Very proactive and smiling service. A very good address for a Lyonnais cork.

The Café du Jura is as good as ever. The Josserand family is no longer there and in the kitchen this is felt... oh it's a slight change but when the gratin dauphinois arrives lukewarm and the presentation of the andouillette is strange, while I am still the only one to serve, I tell myself that it could have been better. Too bad but for me the cuisine goes from 5 to 4 stars.

04/04/2024: My opinion concerns a dish but I really didn't find it extraordinary. I had a hamburger with fries. I didn't find the burger sensational in terms of taste and the fries weren't even homemade for the price, really not good (too cooked or too reheated) and way too salty. The service was friendly and impeccable.
