Café du Midi sur Bize-Minervois

The price/quality ratio is perfect. The food was delicious. The restaurant deserves 5 stars.

We were so lucky to find this lovely little restaurant. We were looking for somewhere for lunch when we saw the Cafe through an ancient archway. Excellent food and really friendly service. We paid €11 for a carafe of very decent red wine and €16 for the menu of the day which was delicious, it even included an espresso! You will not be disappointed.

If you have the opportunity to take a short trip to the south of France, especially in the Aude, don't forget to take a little trip to Bize Minervois, a pretty medieval village crossed by a river that flows happily in its green setting. In the heart of the village, not far from the river, an unmissable discovery: Le café du midi!. A warm welcome, a friendly place, perfect service with great attention, succulent and generous dishes... . Fresh, tasty, delicate, flavorful products, refined and hearty home cooking, lovingly concocted by the owner. A treat for the taste buds. The basket formula is a culinary gem with excellent value for money. I found with emotion the Daube of my childhood prepared with love by my mother as well as the deliciously creamy polenta. I highly recommend this beautiful and unforgettable encounter

What a wonderful experience! We had a delicious meal here. The quinoa burger was truly heavenly – perfect in flavor and texture, and beautifully presented. The service also deserves a big compliment: friendly, attentive, and with genuine hospitality. A place where you feel welcome and are spoiled with culinary delights. Definitely worth a return visit!

A restaurant on a charming village square. The dishes are refined and incredibly delicious. They're not run-of-the-mill fare, but have a truly unique touch. The salmon tiramisu as a starter is delicious! The lemon mousse meringue dessert is also fantastic! Three courses for 30 euros. The service is very attentive. They're very helpful in offering low-salt options. We've eaten here twice. Highly recommended!

Enjoy the super “cagette “ or open box du midi here today. Two entree, main of curried chicken followed by Tomme cheese and good almond tart. Really delicious, beautiful presented and very tasty. Outside seating, with excellent service. With carafe of Rose ,€39 for two.

Regular, never disappointed. The owners, like the servers, everyone is friendly and pleasant, a real pleasure to come here!

An evening with 5 friends last Saturday on the terrace at the Café du Midi. Perfect welcome. We ordered à la carte and everyone enjoyed themselves. A burger 🍔without tomato or lettuce for one of us, perfectly prepared, taking into account our requests. 3 fillet steaks 🥩🍟, cooked to a high standard. The meat was well-served and impeccably tender, and the sauce was delicious. For desserts 🍨 a very indulgent and well-served gourmet coffee ☕️, I had a hard time finishing it. An after-eight ice cream 🍦, a well-served cotton candy. A simple coffee ☕️ with a small meringue topped with a birthday candle 🕯. For the last, nothing more. The service is impeccable. Neither too fast nor too long, always with a smile, whether it was the lady or gentleman who served our table. An excellent evening. The two of us will be back after the season. Thank you for everything 🙏

Stopped for lunch at this village café restaurant. Magnificent starter. The meal was very good, and personally I rediscovered the taste of the roast sauce in which I used to make soldiers as a child ☺️ at my grandmother's. You can go there with your eyes closed, sixteen euros for lunch... A real pleasure to come across places like this, among all the expensive and tasteless restaurant dishes you can come across.
