A real gem!
We were recommended Café du Nord in Arnay-le-Duc during our trip to Burgundy, and we absolutely didn't regret it.
Generous dishes, prepared with local and/or organic products. The wine was also excellent.
A huge thank you for your warm welcome and kindness. We will gladly return if we are ever back in the area.

Very nice people and service; even though we hadn't made a reservation with 4 adults and 3 children, they still did their best to help us and the children with a delicious charcuterie board, top-notch wine, and kids' menus. The French owner even speaks English.

I haven't yet tried the restaurant itself, however, following a death in the family, I contacted the new team at Café du Nord to urgently organize a post-funeral thank-you gathering. They provided and organized a room for the reception. Everything I had requested beforehand was done to the letter. The room was perfectly prepared, chilled drinks were available, and the savory cakes, but especially the gougères, were excellent.
I wanted to leave a review because it was perfect for a very competitive price. The young owner was attentive, helpful, and very professional. In short... a big thank you!
And if 200 gougères were devoured in less than an hour, it's because I wasn't the only one who enjoyed them 😉

An inviting restaurant with a very friendly welcome. However, in our opinion, the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right for everything. The young man was very helpful though. Thank you for that.
