A place to discover in old Rennes

I discovered this place while visiting Rennes. The location and decor are quite nice. The beer is good and the service is very friendly. The food isn't bad, but it's missing a set menu. A starter, main course, and dessert would easily cost €35. I find that too expensive for the food. The portions are very small, but it's quite tasty. Overall, I was satisfied with my visit.

We had an excellent experience at Café du Port, where we spent Saturday evening as a family. The extensive menu offers something to please everyone's palate – there's truly something for everyone! The dishes, often comforting, are beautifully prepared with superb flavors that really elevate the plates. Kudos to the chefs for their creative combinations! The atmosphere is very friendly and the service is more than pleasant. Just one small point: it would be better to specify when the wine is natural, as this isn't always indicated on the menu or by the server, and it might not appeal to everyone… But otherwise, I highly recommend it for the food! Reservations are advisable on weekends, and they accept restaurant vouchers!
