Café du Théâtre sur Cherbourg-Octeville

Very good experience at the Café du Théâtre, we had reserved for 15, we were served very quickly and the food was excellent.

We had lunch at the theater café on Sunday December 29 (almost the only restaurant open). The room is pleasant (magnificent Christmas tree), the waitresses rather fast and conscientious, although one of us waited for his dish while we were all served, but the waitresses are not responsible for this. Unfortunately a lamb shank whose heart was still frozen and for me a lukewarm dish. When paying we reported this. The response “we will take note”. An apology and a small commercial gesture (1 free gourmet coffee for example) would have been a minimum. For the rest the menu is quite original, the dishes have character and taste. We don't think we'll come back, although we went there a few years ago.

Very good...the star less on the kitchen is for the board to share...the navy...mayo is missing for the shrimp...we are still there....and we are already reserving for next Friday

After a complicated start at the service level, a very nice young man was able to resolve the situation. Very smiling, he is certainly promising. We ate very well and are always delighted with this restaurant.

We ate very well, young and old! Healthy, tasty cuisine and a great chef who didn't let us starve despite the fact that the kitchen was closed. Very rare to still see such unanimity, well done and thank you again!!
