Café Français sur Saint-Amour

Passing through Saint Amour, I stopped at Café Français. Warm atmosphere, excellent food, very good value for money.

We regret that your visit to our establishment did not leave you with a good impression. We attach great importance to hospitality, respect, and the quality of our interactions with all our customers. We would like to point out, however, that the situation you describe does not reflect reality. Your behavior towards our team, and more specifically towards one of our employees whom you disrespectfully addressed because of his hair color, was unacceptable. We therefore had to intervene to maintain respect and serenity in our dining room. It is also regrettable to publish a negative review when you ultimately did not eat there. We remain open to constructive discussion, based on mutual respect.

The food is refined, the staff are friendly, it's a shame the portions aren't very generous and the service is so slow

We didn't hesitate to head off our northeast route to this little restaurant in the heart of Saint-Amour, and we definitely did the right thing. A daily menu for €16, with a buffet of starters, a main course, and a dessert. Unbeatable value for money, something some restaurants that constantly complain about should take note of instead of ripping off their customers. A great little spot for anyone looking for a quick, affordable meal.

Everything was good, very reasonable price and very pleasant and friendly staff.

On vacation. We ate excellent chicken with morel sauce there. I recommend it. Very pleasant staff.

To discover, tip-top welcome, very well advised both for the dishes and for the wines, authentic cuisine, I highly recommend it.
