Superb place in the middle of Périgord. Simple and typical cuisine. Far from foie gras.

The welcome is pleasant. A quiet and comfortable place to take a break. A wide choice of tea and excellent homemade yogurts. You can buy tea on site.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Himalaya en Perigord: the warm welcome, the tasteful decoration, the delicious dishes. We had a great time and we will come back

Delicious Tibetan food. We had the vegetarian set menu - six small bowls of food, all delicious, as well as healthy and very good value. Try the lassi - wonderful. All cooked and served by just one man but great service.

Recommended restaurant! Very warm welcome, we had a pleasant time in this beautiful place where we felt good. Very well prepared food. We will come back to it!

A change of scenery guaranteed in this fully dressed Tibetan restaurant, served friendly. Very good meal, the beer is good and the decor is superb. 2 meals that leave us with good memories.

A beautiful Sunday with friends in the Himalayas! A setting as warm as it is zen, a host who takes great care, having perfectly taken into account the menu modifications requested in advance. We shared a timeless moment, with original cuisine with flavors from a distant journey. The spice combinations are sublime! Hurry up and make reservations, this little piece of Tibet in Périgord is really worth the detour!

A superb discovery, high quality cooked dishes. All the aromas are highlighted. A warm welcome, a very atypical decor which immerses us in the Nepalese atmosphere. An address not to be missed !

Auberge de Layotte - Regis Gagnadre

17/03/2024: I'm not much of an inn person but this one is really typical of Périgord. The owner and boss is super friendly, very welcoming, he comes to chat with you... Large wooden table near the fire yes there is a very large fireplace inside it is magnificent. If you are not big eaters don't come there 🤣 you have 2 starters (homemade soup and charcuterie platter (pâté, chestnut smoked pork loin with pickles of course 😉) then you have two meats (we were confit duck leg and beef cheek beef bourguignon style a delight with potato) then the plate of cheese the dessert (walnut tart) coffee and digestive and I forgot at the aperitif we were served an alcohol of pink carafe of water and large bottle of wine all for €41 per person. It's definitely worth it and it's super good, everything is homemade and served like the old fashioned way in old inns. It's worth the detour

02/03/2024: Amazing ! Despite a full panel, the kindness of the hosts allowed us to enjoy ourselves, fair price, succulent dishes, organic wine from Château "Le Chabrier" made by the owner's dad. Very intimate and elegant setting, With pleasure, we will come back
