I'm not much of an inn person but this one is really typical of Périgord. The owner and boss is super friendly, very welcoming, he comes to chat with you... Large wooden table near the fire yes there is a very large fireplace inside it is magnificent. If you are not big eaters don't come there 🤣 you have 2 starters (homemade soup and charcuterie platter (pâté, chestnut smoked pork loin with pickles of course 😉) then you have two meats (we were confit duck leg and beef cheek beef bourguignon style a delight with potato) then the plate of cheese the dessert (walnut tart) coffee and digestive and I forgot at the aperitif we were served an alcohol of pink carafe of water and large bottle of wine all for €41 per person. It's definitely worth it and it's super good, everything is homemade and served like the old fashioned way in old inns. It's worth the detour

Exceptionnel d'authenticité ! Tout est simple, délicieux, copieux, généreux et sans artifice. La bonne cuisine comme les restaurant oublient de la faire, sans artifice et clichés de nouveauté comme "vu à la télé". Ici on vient manger et on se régale ! Bravo ! Ne changez rien.
