Amazing ! Despite a full panel, the kindness of the hosts allowed us to enjoy ourselves, fair price, succulent dishes, organic wine from Château "Le Chabrier" made by the owner's dad. Very intimate and elegant setting, With pleasure, we will come back

Super nice restaurant, the meal was delicious and the service was very pleasant but not much choice and the wait was a bit long. I highly recommend this very friendly restaurant.

la Source is an excellent restaurant: the menu is both simple (three or four options plus a daily menu) and elaborate because the products, obviously of very good quality, are well presented. The place is very pretty in winter as in summer - we went there in August and February) and the atmosphere is very peaceful. Juliette advises very well on my dishes and wines. She is also very open and really wants to please customers. So a very good experience. We will come back to it!

Our favorite from our Périgord wanderings. Home cooking in a charming inn. At the helm is a small family in love with the products and their customers. This lunch was excellent and we say we will come back!

Nice welcome in a nice setting. Very good local cuisine revisited, and beautiful presentation on the plate and all this for a very reasonable price. We will come back with great pleasure, especially in summer to enjoy their beautiful terrace overlooking the wooded garden.

Auberge de Layotte - Regis Gagnadre

17/03/2024: I'm not much of an inn person but this one is really typical of Périgord. The owner and boss is super friendly, very welcoming, he comes to chat with you... Large wooden table near the fire yes there is a very large fireplace inside it is magnificent. If you are not big eaters don't come there 🤣 you have 2 starters (homemade soup and charcuterie platter (pâté, chestnut smoked pork loin with pickles of course 😉) then you have two meats (we were confit duck leg and beef cheek beef bourguignon style a delight with potato) then the plate of cheese the dessert (walnut tart) coffee and digestive and I forgot at the aperitif we were served an alcohol of pink carafe of water and large bottle of wine all for €41 per person. It's definitely worth it and it's super good, everything is homemade and served like the old fashioned way in old inns. It's worth the detour

18/09/2023: Superb place in the middle of Périgord. Simple and typical cuisine. Far from foie gras.
13/09/2023: The welcome is pleasant. A quiet and comfortable place to take a break. A wide choice of tea and excellent homemade yogurts. You can buy tea on site.
