Cafe Le Charlys sur Saint-Malo

The main attraction of this place is its terrace, especially if you manage to find a place on the tables that are on the "wall" side. I went there after reading the PMU Fooding guide but there is nothing PMU (and I have known the area for a long time!) and nothing Fooding. Just a place to drink a good cold beer and enjoy the atmosphere of this paradise on Earth that is Brittany. PS: the waiter shares my opinion on the importance of beer in life.

It's a great spot on a nice square to sit for a coffee or drink and watch people paas by, but the service is straightforward and inattentive, worse than in Paris.

Great place. Friendly service and good value for money. Cozy atmosphere, and if you want, you can enjoy the sunshine.

We ended up here by chance, waiting for our restaurant reservation for an hour. The staff was very friendly, especially Marine, so much so that we arrived late for our reservation :) We went back the next day and it was just as good.

Great atmosphere. Great waitress. Perfect Irish with decaf 😉
