This place reminds me of my youth. The restaurant has old-fashioned decor, the waitress was smiling, and the owner, yes madam, I'm wide awake! We had a good laugh, the food was very good, and the team was great. Thank you for this lovely time.

A flawless experience at this charming, authentic café/bistro, where you're greeted with warmth and smiles by two waitresses whose anecdotes are as delightful as the food. The Auvergne-style garbure (a hearty vegetable and meat stew) is wonderfully comforting, while the homemade desserts are a feast for the eyes. Take, for example, the lightly sweetened and airy chocolate mousse, or the rice pudding, which is its complete opposite (and we couldn't be happier). A perfect spot for lunch.

30/05/2026: A short but very relaxing stay, a warm welcome, and thank you to the chef for the delicious meal.
29/05/2026: A very nice hotel. It only has 3 stars, but it's worth more thanks to the staff, the very comfortable rooms, the swimming pool with its terrace, and the breakfast (don't miss Maria's homemade crepes, which are actually "msemen" for those who know them). Ideally located for starting hikes (by bike or on foot). I stayed there for 5 days and, from what I've seen in Mont Dore, this hotel is, in my opinion, the best in the area. No hesitation needed.

12/05/2026: The cuisine is well-executed, with excellent preparation. A wine bar serving wines by the glass is very pleasant for occasionally enjoying fine wines. 🍷 The atmosphere surprised me 🥶 despite the very pretty decor.
30/03/2026: A lovely, quiet, and cozy restaurant. The dishes are homemade, refined, and beautifully presented. The mushroom puff pastry was delicious! The waitress was pleasant. Set menu (starter, main course, dessert) from €30 – good value for money.
