This was a very nice little bistro. Very nice service (English is spoken, and we appreciated that they made us feel comfortable as our French is very basic). Delicious food w ample portions. They have an outdoor terrace that looks west over the Apt valley.

Beautiful spot in the heart of Bonnieux, with amazing food and service. Special shoutout to Cillian for his great service, we had a lovely dinner and then returned on the Friday morning for the au pain au chocolat which lived up to the hype! Would recommend to anyone staying in or visiting Bonnieux

The daily special was excellent. The set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for €25 was reasonably priced, and we enjoyed our meal on a sunny terrace. The bistro staff were very friendly, and the service was just right.

The owner and staff are very friendly... A real bar, just the way I like them. I can't comment on the restaurant side of things as I haven't tried it, but the two chefs seem to know their stuff.

Thank you to Chloé and Christophe, the owners, for the excellent welcome. The food was delicious, and the wine selection was lovely. Having already enjoyed the terrace, I can say the sunset is one of the most beautiful in the Luberon ☀️ We will be back, go without hesitation!

We came after making a reservation (21 people, which is recommended...) and choosing our starters, main courses, and desserts in advance. Regardless of the dishes, everything was delicious, flavorful, and generous. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

02/11/2025: A very good meal with a welcome gesture of goodwill, as one of the dishes chosen was not part of the daily special, yet it was ordered as such. Special mention goes to the excellent chocolate fondant.
20/09/2025: We had a short stop for lunch. I didn't expect anything special. I took lunch offer : chicken with potatoes and Provence herbs. I felt like in Ratatui film, that was the best chicken in my life, the herbs were extraordinary, I felt like my grandma cooked it and I am 8 years old and am spending summer at hers. That's a lot ! It was very very tasty!

Restaurant Cesar

26/05/2026: We visited the restaurant spontaneously and enjoyed the best meal during our 10 day trip in the Provence. It was a wonderful meal with an organic touch and well combined. Stephanie and Pierre-Yves are a great team. Had to take a foto of them.
24/05/2026: We stayed at Hotel César for two nights during a hiking trip. The rooms and restaurant are very charmingly and lovingly decorated, and the view is magnificent. The food in the restaurant alone is worth the trip; Stéphanie and Pierre-Yves have created a real gem here and run the hotel and restaurant with passion!
