We visited the restaurant spontaneously and enjoyed the best meal during our 10 day trip in the Provence. It was a wonderful meal with an organic touch and well combined. Stephanie and Pierre-Yves are a great team. Had to take a foto of them.

We stayed at Hotel César for two nights during a hiking trip. The rooms and restaurant are very charmingly and lovingly decorated, and the view is magnificent.
The food in the restaurant alone is worth the trip; Stéphanie and Pierre-Yves have created a real gem here and run the hotel and restaurant with passion!

We came to this restaurant for lunch, and the meal was exceptional. We had lamb cooked in honey with local vegetables, seasoned perfectly with fresh herbs de Provence. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. It was a magical moment! And the dessert was just as delicious. I highly recommend it if you enjoy good, flavorful food!! And the setting was lovely too 😀

A room with a breathtaking view of the magnificent countryside. A huge terrace all to ourselves, perfect for enjoying an aperitif and listening to the night birds. The hotel has plenty of character, like its owners, making it a unique and charming place, not at all sterile. And that's a good thing! The meal was delicious, with perfectly roasted asparagus and flavorful foie gras. What more could you ask for?

You must eat here. The food is excellent, one of the best meals we have had. Classic French food with a little touch of Stephanie’s passion and sense of fun. Then there’s the view across the Bonnieux valley towards Lacoste. Sunset was stunning. Can’t go wrong. Good food, service and ambience. Go up the hill. It is so worth it.

Don't hesitate to venture further up into this charming village.
The Alpilles lamb with its delicious sauce was excellent.
The chef, Stéphanie, is passionate about her work, and it shows in her dishes.

We enjoyed two delicious meals here. Between four of us we tried almost everything on the menu. All the dishes were cooked with care and attention. We got to talk to the two owners at the end of the second evening. Their passion and love of good food is clearly shown in the meals they produce. We would highly recommend. And if we were ever back in Bonnieux, we would definitely return.
