My favourite bar here in Ste Maxime. Staff are so friendly and efficient. Good selection of beers. Food is okay.

Last night we went for drinks with friends, and one of our friends, who no longer drinks alcohol, asked for tea. The brunette waitress with glasses told him there was an extra charge for tea in the evening. Okay, fine, but then, as she was serving his tea, she politely said, "And what about the weak one?"... I was speechless in the face of such remarks.

The café in Ste Max where you're ALWAYS warmly welcomed, whether you come in peak season or off-season, early in the morning, in the evening, or during the lunch rush. The food is good and varied, and the atmosphere is very friendly!

I chose the dish of the day: shredded duck with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were very good, the shredded duck, which was more like minced duck, wasn't particularly enjoyable but came with a welcome, flavorful sauce. My wife was looking forward to a nice flank steak with fries. The meat was tough and rather bland (was it defrosted?). Luckily, the Coke was good 😅. The service was quite friendly and quick, and there was a very large screen for sports fans.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this brasserie practically on the seafront. Excellent food, fast and extremely friendly service. I'll definitely be back!
