The Makkenzie Group team really enjoyed it there; the food is good, the service is absolutely spot on, and the atmosphere is really cosy. So we’d definitely recommend it.

I've witnessed the various transformations of Café Maxime over the past forty years, but it's still just as lovely. The atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious, the menu is simple but offers high-quality and generous portions. Everyone serving is fantastic. I'm there every evening for my glass of Hugo Spritz whenever I go back downstairs. Stay just as you are.

Honestly, it's a great establishment, but I was very disappointed with the fondue. It was loaded with Emmental cheese and therefore had no flavor whatsoever, nothing like a Savoyard fondue. Also, big eaters should probably avoid it. I devoured it all by myself, even though it's meant for at least two people. I recommend the signature burger instead; it's excellent.

Perfectly balanced spices, generous portions, and a cozy atmosphere... everything is there for an exceptional experience. A big Namaste 🙏 to the whole team for this perfect experience!
19/10/2025: We, two children and two adults, enjoyed it very much, and the portions were perfectly adequate for each of us. Prices in that area are simply high, and this restaurant was actually one of the cheapest in comparison.
