While passing through Besançon, it was quite by chance that we had lunch at the Morand café. Flawless! Welcome, service, quality and originality of the dishes. A great discovery, we will come back! We are trying to remake the “cod back” and its “grated carrots/celery” duo :))

Very warm welcome and always a treat whether for a pastry and a coffee or lunch. The Comtoise galette is excellent. Always a pleasure to stop there. And our dog was pampered with a bowl of water and treats. A little nugget.

Cuisine fraîche et fait maison, peu d attente, service rapide, prend les chèques vacances. On reviendra sans hésitation si on revient â Besançon !

Very cute little cafe. There is no breakfast menu, you can order whatever is in the window. With a baguette you get a large piece of butter and two jars of jam that you can spoon out of. Organic quality. The croissant and pain au chocolat were also fresh and delicious.

10/08/2024: We had a great time The ice creams are very good and well presented. The waitress is smiling and attentive. She heard that my daughter wanted a piece of lemon for her glass of water. Discreetly she brought him a ramekin with several pieces of lemon. It's the little touches that make the difference. We will come back with pleasure
