Cafè oriental sur Valensole

So many negative reviews!!!!! So, either I'm lucky, or I have a pleasant and very pleasant appearance 🤣🤣. I spent 1 week in Valensole, I went every morning to have my cream and eat the croissants (bought at the bakery next door). The friendly and smiling waitress. The first day, she warned me that they didn't take credit cards, that surprised me, but she gave me plenty of time to go to the ATM next door to come back and pay... Sometimes courtesy has to be on both sides. If I come back to Valensole, I would sit again at this pleasant terrace.

Fair prices and friendly service!

We were there twice, aperitif in the afternoon and for a match in the evening. Very friendly and authentic employees and boss from the region. The service is good and the prices (drinks) more than fair. We found the village spirit there where everyone knows each other, the evening was really fun. If we come back, we'll go back. Despite the mixed reviews, we found our steak baguette and chicken baguette to be tasty, plentiful and good produce. Staff friendly and attentive. The only downside is that it is cash only (we only realised after eating). We had to use the local cash machine which charged €6!
