Una de nuestras últimas noches en Lyon, no conseguimos una reserva y Café Perl fue capaz de acomodarnos. Nos sentamos afuera bajo un enorme árbol de hoja caduca, bellamente decorado con luces que proyectaban un cálido y romántico resplandor. El restaurante estaba muy ocupado con clientes de todas las edades, y era un poco ruidoso... parecían tener poco personal y por lo tanto el servicio sufrió por ello. La comida estaba bien preparada y deliciosa... compartimos una ensalada y croque monsieur.

Era viernes por la noche grandes restaurantes estaban llenos. Tienen asientos exteriores e interiores, asientos interiores preferidos, solo una pareja estaba sentada dentro. La gente de afuera estaba bebiendo. El servidor era bueno. Habla inglés también. Buen servicio. Pedimos el filete a la parrilla medio raro con verduras, salmón con verduras y copa de vino. El filete estaba duro y las verduras estaban mushy (sobrecocinado). Tenía tanta hambre, pero comí solo unos bocados de carne y verduras solo para llenar mi estómago.

We were invited, in this two-ball bouiboui, a sub-zero restaurant. Bland dishes (dry pork chops and not even sauce) without any research, no cooking, lukewarm rosé. We don't talk about the waiter, he didn't know anything about the menu. This type of restaurant is a shame for French cuisine, and moreover Lyon, the capital of gastronomy. Let all these beautiful people go and get a cooking diploma already, before serving meals, no matter how mediocre. I do not recommend under any circumstances. To avoid absolutely... shameful... Veto services should take a look at this type of establishment.

Good « plat du jour » at decent prices , fast service, nice wine. On the terrace. We arrived a Tuesday at 3 p.m when all other nearby “bouchons” were closed. Good surprise, happy customers.

22/09/2024: Excellent table, limited menu of perfectly executed dishes, careful presentation. A very good mastery from starter to dessert, the recipes are spiced up with aromatics in just the right quantity, very tasty, very fresh. A cuisine with an obvious personality, which is a pleasure to taste. The 3-course menu is superb in its quality/price ratio. Very nice wine list, selective and a bit too expensive for some bottles, but we were well advised and the Burgundy was really delicious. The setting is cozy, warm, elegantly decorated. Friendly and impeccable service. A restaurant often recommended, and it is completely deserved.
