Cafe Populaire sur La Rochelle

(Lunch between noon and 2 pm with a 1 hour 15 minute break) We were served quickly and it was very good!

A warm atmosphere, delicious meals at reasonable prices. An excellent place to eat in La Pallice. I go back often.

A small establishment full of surprises. A very pleasant, down-to-earth atmosphere and a very efficient owner who runs the place perfectly.

A limited selection. As a result, everything is very good! Excellent value for money, excellent service.

As a truck driver stranded by the snow at the port of La Rochelle, I walked up to Café Populaire. Although the establishment wasn't open, the owner kindly agreed to serve us coffee and let us use the restrooms. A huge thank you for this hospitality; I will definitely return as soon as I have the chance!
