202607 Great! You can get a round platter here to go into the market and buy seafood to eat! We ordered cream and bread, juice and a glass of wine to go with our oyster platter. I love Laro!

WHAT A SPECTACULAR! We left with the taste of the sea in our mouths. Top oysters and prawns. Top cheese platter. Top white wine. The owners were even better. What else could I say? Eating outside with a nice cool breeze was top. Final verdict? You decide.

A lovely place with a great concept. They serve drinks, bread, butter, and oyster forks, and we pick up all our groceries at the covered market. All that's left to do is enjoy the friendly atmosphere.

19/09/2026: We ate here several times while we were in La Rochelle and each time was wonderful and memorable. The weather was crazy that week so we enjoyed sunny days that were fun and relaxing, overcast days, and one particular day there was a serious downpour and every person in the area ran into this cafe for shelter to the point that there was standing room only. The staff did their utmost to make sure everyone had a drink and this merry band of weather-refugees turned into an international party of merry souls. They do the best mussels with this smokey flavor that I’ve had anywhere in the world! Fabulous place to get a drink, have a meal, and to people watch. We were treated like gold!
16/09/2026: Honestly, excellent value for money and a beautiful view of the port. The service is efficient and friendly, and the meal is good and generous... What more could you ask for? 😊 Oh yes, the kir is on the house, so we're 100% happy with this restaurant! 👌🔥🤗

01/10/2026: Very good. Friendly staff, excellent waiter, beautiful view.
27/09/2026: We had a good meal; the mussels were very good, although some were a little small. The selection of crepes was varied, with something for everyone.
