As tourists in distress, we ended up at Café Rapp by chance, and I'm glad we did. Emie welcomed us very pleasantly with great suggestions, and as a result, we had an excellent lunch in a pleasant location. The best. Thank you. This establishment was reviewed in March, which certainly explains the rating's discrepancy with reality...

Great setting and a very good and varied menu. However, regarding the service, we didn't get a chance to see all the available desserts (especially the scoops of ice cream that we saw for another table). Apart from that, it's very nice, even if a little noisy. A good place to stay.

13/10/2025: Super sweet shop with lovely owner and staff. Favorite was Le Toit du Monde (?). It was very reasonably priced and you get plenty of we ordered a few and shared to try. Recommend on a chilly day for sure!
16/09/2025: It’s like a treasure land of teas! So many different types of tea with high qualities and characters not only from Asia, but also local herbs. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly, who will definitely help you out. It’s really a good recommendation for someone who wants to have a relaxing short break in Colmar.

08/03/2026: I visited Colmar, a two-star Michelin gastronomy restaurant, hoping to enjoy a special dinner. This time, I ordered the six-course dinner with wine pairings. Each dish was beautifully presented and the flavors were delicately balanced, making it a highly refined course, as you'd expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The combinations and presentations of the ingredients were well thought out, and each dish was surprising, making the meal itself feel like an experience in itself. The wine pairings were carefully tailored to the dishes, further enhancing the appeal of each dish. The staff's explanations and service were attentive, allowing me to enjoy a leisurely meal in a calm atmosphere. While the prices are by no means cheap, I believe this restaurant offers a wonderful experience, including the food, wine, and service. I recommend this restaurant to anyone planning a special dinner in Colmar.
