An exceptional address in Colmar. An absolute must-try! There are restaurants where you have a wonderful time… and then there are those you're still talking about days later. JY'S undoubtedly belongs to the latter category. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the restaurant's ambiance: a magnificent, elegant, and welcoming decor, where every detail seems to have been meticulously considered. Nothing is left to chance, right down to the tableware and cutlery, which are true extensions of the dining experience. The service is on par with the cuisine: professional, attentive, and elegant, but never intrusive. This perfect balance is particularly appreciated in an establishment of this caliber. And the food… wow! Everything is incredibly precise, with flavors that complement each other, perfectly mastered textures, and an ability to surprise without ever losing its equilibrium. But if there's one dish that will stay with us for a long time, it's undoubtedly the stuffed cabbage with lobster. A true marvel. I don't think I'm still reeling from that dish… A dish as surprising as it was delicate, and above all, incredibly delicious. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the chef, Jean-Yves Schillinger, a moment we truly enjoyed. An approachable, warm chef with a great sense of humor… and clearly a penchant for teasing the locals of Eguisheim. Bravo to the entire JY'S team for this magnificent evening. Behind the excellence and precision of a great establishment, there are personalities, spontaneity, and a genuine soul. A remarkable gastronomic experience, a sublime setting, exceptional cuisine, and impeccable service. We left with smiles on our faces… and above all, with a burning desire to return.

Our second visit to JY’S, and our first impression was completely confirmed! A remarkable establishment in every way: the welcome, the ambiance, the quality of the food, the service… Everything was perfect! Everything was incredible: design, execution, and presentation.

A Saturday evening spent with the family exploring the 10-course menu. A unique experience that catered to all tastes and awakened every part of the palate. Over four hours at the table, discussing world events and, above all, describing each dish, exploring every flavor and spice. The staff was outstanding. The chef came to chat at length at the end of the meal. Definitely a 2-Michelin-starred restaurant not to be missed under any circumstances!

One of the best restaurants in Alsace: a firework display of different tastes and textures, wrapped in impeccable service and accompanied by a sublime glass of wine… Simply perfect! I loved… everything!

An overall exceptional experience. The cuisine is exquisitely refined, with perfectly executed dishes and a true sense of balance. Each course had its own distinct character, and the entire meal was remarkably cohesive. We were absolutely blown away by the strawberry dessert, which was simply magical. As beautiful as it was delicious, it provided a memorable ending to the meal, and its presentation added a truly emotional touch to the experience. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the wine service. The sommelier gave us the impression of imposing his choices rather than presenting them to us or guiding us in our exploration. The approach was somewhat abrupt and, in our opinion, didn't reflect the level of excellence of the rest of the establishment. Nevertheless, it remains a remarkable restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend. We will return with great pleasure.
