Café Saillan sur Carcassonne

Estábamos caminando junto a este café durante la hora del almuerzo mientras paseaba por Carcasona y fuimos recibidos por una señora que estaba sirviendo una casa llena. Elegimos una mesa afuera para ver pasar el mundo y la señora fue más que servicial explicando lo que era la Plat du Jour. La comida (me gustó un Tartare de Boeuf y mi compañero Salade de Fromagerie) ) y el vino era excelente. El servicio era maravilloso y el propietario vino cuando habíamos terminado para preguntar si todo era de nuestro agrado que, sin duda, era. Nuestro almuerzo estaba bien - precio y vale la pena cada centavo. La gente que miraba era buena, ya que la ciudad cobró vida después del almuerzo Bien recomendado a cualquiera que visite Carcasona

Anyone who has the opportunity to get a table here on a Saturday lunchtime will have the opportunity to experience the authentic French way of life head-on. The street is closed and a cheerful young man conjures up various delicacies on the plancha in front of the cafe, which you take to your table. The best way to get drinks is directly at the counter😉. Everyone is in a good mood and it was such a great experience, we enjoyed it a lot 🫶

Lots of people, good atmosphere

Very good address recently discovered and which I highly recommend. Tuna eggs with mayonnaise as a starter and moussaka as a main course. It's simple, good and effective. Fast service, good value for money and warm welcome. The restaurant is well located in the city center, a local restaurant that is worth it. It is better to reserve for a place outside on these sunny days.
