Cafe Saint-Pol sur Nogent-Le-Rotrou

The decor was a bit drab, the mojito needed improvement—it lacked flavor. The meal was decent, nothing more. The staff were pleasant.

A wonderful discovery this lunchtime after finishing our market shopping. A very pleasant lunch break, a warm welcome, and quality dishes made with fresh produce and very generous portions. We will gladly return and highly recommend your establishment!

We followed the reviews and left quite disappointed with our experience. The evening menu is offered at an affordable price (€19 for a starter and main course), but the food is very average: the portions are generous, but the flavors are bland and excessively sauced, which detracts from the overall taste. The service was subpar: the young waitress seemed unfamiliar with the menu, which she didn't know well and showed little interest in. The wine list, on the other hand, is interesting, but poorly matched to the set menus: bottles of red wine average around €50, with prices starting at €40. The bill came to €97 for two people, including a €59 bottle of wine (which was excellent, by the way), but the set menus clearly lacked flavor, leaving a sense of incongruity. Finally, the room lacked warmth and atmosphere, with a feel more reminiscent of a cafeteria than a restaurant, and the absence of music didn't help create a pleasant setting. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

La Terrasse St Pol. The restaurant in Nogent, by far the friendliest, most welcoming and excellent, with fresh, local produce at fair prices. Smiling staff, always in good spirits.

August 15th in Nogent le Rotrou, and the Terrasse Saint Pol is fortunately there. Large terrace that fills up quickly, welcoming and smiling hostess, friendly staff who take the time to smile too. Short menu and refined dishes, terrace salad, well-garnished, butcher's cut cooked exactly as requested, 2 beers and the cherry on the cake, gourmet coffee at 4 times. €52 for 2. Quality, price, and excellent welcome, finally, at the Terrasse, we relax there!
