We had a very pleasant dinner. The welcome was warm and friendly. The rump steak was fatty inside, but that's not the cook's fault.

Passing through Nogent-le-Rotrou about ten days ago, I found a very good restaurant, excellent food, a very friendly atmosphere with a small concert in the square. I will be back.

We had a family lunch, and because of the heat, we asked to be seated inside. This was impossible even though there were tables and benches available, but apparently, the person wanted some peace and quiet. We started eating around 1:15 PM, and at 2:35 PM a young man began folding up the tables and putting away the chairs, including one at our table. We realized we shouldn't linger. This is a restaurant for a quick lunch...

We came on Saturday evening, August 15th. There was no wait on the terrace, and it was warm while we waited for our food. We were offered two small blinis with tarama, but we're not big fans. It's a shame they offered chips or peanuts; we would have preferred them. Otherwise, the flank steak was very good, a little tough, but the homemade fries were excellent. We had a good time, and I'll be back.

Finally, real homemade mayonnaise and perfectly cooked fries, beautiful salads, a thoughtful decor—everything was top-notch! 👍🏻

Here's a smooth and welcoming suggestion for Google: A truly lovely spot in Nogent-le-Rotrou, perfect after visiting the castle! The town hall parking lot right next door is very convenient. Large, pleasant terrace, attractive menu, and delicious dishes. The homemade tartares are excellent, and a special mention goes to the truffled brie croquettes: a real treat! The staff is very friendly. A great find that we highly recommend.
