Cafe Soleil sur La Grande-Motte

It was almost perfect, apart from the wait and a few minor details. The cod fritters, mussels and fries, and rum baba were excellent. A couple of minor complaints: the baked apple was served cold! What a shame. The shellfish platter from the €27.90 set menu was disappointing, basic, and minimalist (just a few shrimp—no aioli—and a few shellfish). Nothing to accompany the aperitif, which dragged on! There was a long wait, expect two and a half hours; the waiter was overwhelmed. Not very friendly, but despite the crowd, very calm and attentive, which is a plus. We would have preferred the lovely interior terrace, which was also very pleasant, but it was full. So, given the lengthy service and the uncertain weather, we were rather cold. Be sure to arrive early, as the beautiful view, reasonable prices, and excellent menu attract a lot of people.

A wonderful time at Café Soleil ☀️ Beautiful seaside terrace, generous and beautifully presented dishes. Special mention to the grilled fish and the linguine 👌 And contrary to what some have said… the bald waiter with glasses is very good 😉 Smiling, efficient, and professional. It just goes to show, sometimes you have to form your own opinion! We'll gladly return.

A very welcoming place with a pleasant sea view. The service is both warm and efficient. The meals are good, varied, and in keeping with the seaside atmosphere. However, I find it a shame that the side dishes are almost always fries. Perhaps it would be helpful to ask for an alternative when ordering. The prices are in the mid-range.

Today, I wanted to share this experience. It's not my first time eating here, and I'm always warmly welcomed by the servers. Islem was particularly efficient and welcoming, as was her team. The grilled cuttlefish I had was perfect, and so was the dessert. The service was very quick! When something is perfect, it's worth mentioning!

The food was excellent and the service was great. The pizza turnover was superb...

A lovely meal on the terrace under the December 30th sun. Serving, quick service, and good value for the daily special. Bonus: they accept holiday vouchers ☺️

Pleasant restaurant, came for lunch, quick service, simple but very good food. Very pleasant waiter. No complaints.

Visited today. Dog-friendly, very professional server. Excellent burger pizzas, ultra-fast service, fantastic!
