The attentive service and the cuisine full of flavors and good things in this cocoon of sweetness have embellished all my stays in Lyon! After such success on plates and in hearts, I have no doubt that the next adventures of Johanna and her grumpy chef will not disappoint. Looking forward to the sequel!

An absolute gem of a little cafe! A friendly welcome and prompt service. Happy to help out with an English translation of the menu too. 😊 Great coffee and a perfect le petite dejeuner for us. Do try the labneh + zaatar on toast ... so yummy!

Really cute cosy place, it was very comforting as being an Indian I was surprised to find golden milk at this cafe and the taste was really good and the carrot cake was moist and fluffy! Overall worth a try!

21/03/2024: We are regulars but we feel a small drop in service plus air conditioning and additional heating for an average C suite....
26/02/2024: Call back from a hostess to validate the payment taken on booking. Very pleasant and very professional. Several codes to get to our room, at the beginning rather fun it looks like a treasure hunt after 2 or 3 times much less. Didn't have breakfast with the hotel, price quite high but it's brunch, however everything is in the room. We bought a brioche from Pralus. We feasted.

04/04/2024: Generally we love vapiano, having visited in 4 countries. We were so excited to see a vapiano in Lyon, because we would know what we were getting. The food, as always, was great, and the location was amazing. However, the place inside felt run down. The seats were torn, the basil was wilted, and the place was generally dirty. Nothing worse than walking into a restaurant and the previous diners leftovers are crusting up in their abandoned bowls. The toilets were exceptionally dirty and the sink tap was broken- I’m sure the staff have somewhere else to wash their hands, but it doesn’t fill you with confidence about the hygiene! Come on vapiano, we know you can do better than this. This place has great potential!
