A super cozy eatery, just the way the Dutch and the Angels live it. On the edge of the Dordogne (hence these influences) and run entirely by the French. Excellent food, generous portions, and you are served excellently here with a friendly word. Highly recommended.

Lunch on a Monday, it was one of the best meals I have had in France. Veal with Mushroom Sauce, great flavour and very tender.

Café Tortoni December 2025: Eymet is a British expat outpost of sorts (I've been told!), and that was VERY obvious at this cafe, where the vast majority of the clientele were Brits. It felt more like a British pub than a French cafe! But the espresso was good and reasonably priced, and the service was very friendly.

30/03/2026: The waitress was super nice. The food was very good... But it was extremely noisy. We couldn't even hear ourselves speak. A group of people from a club were there and acted like they were at home. They were shouting. No consideration for the other customers. It's a real shame, because the quality of the food and the waitress were excellent.
15/03/2026: Really nice, even though it was packed on a Saturday night! Delicious, generously filled crepes; we ate outside but the waitresses took good care of us.
