It was simply fantastic. Very friendly and attentive service. Wonderful, delicious mussels. We (a family with two children) sat outside and enjoyed the glorious December sunshine. To finish, a cappuccino gourmande – sensational! Because we enjoyed it so much, we visited the restaurant again on New Year's Day and, despite it being fully booked, managed to get a table.
We received a very warm welcome. Eric, the owner, is fantastic and very attentive to his customers, as is Marta.
We will definitely return for an excellent meal.
If I could, I would raise the overall rating to 5.0 stars. Café Valmer is a true institution in La Croix-Valmer. The quality is consistently good, you always feel welcome, but the service is never intrusive. In the off-season, it's often the only restaurant open, yet it delivers consistent quality day after day. Thank you, Eric & Team, for doing such a great job!
We had dinner here on our last day.
Lobster, oysters and other shellfish, all fresh and very delicious.
If you are looking for sea food, don't hesitate to visit this place!
