Café Valmer is the heart of the town's small shopping street and is located right at the entrance to La Croix-Valmer. It's open from early morning until late at night, offering breakfast, light refreshments, lunch, aperitifs, and full dinners, and is very popular with both locals and tourists. The menu features a classic selection, from excellent escargots and seafood platters to côte de boeuf – a wide variety of dishes. The food is simply delicious, down-to-earth, and authentic. You can sit outside under the open sky in the evenings and enjoy the shade during the day. It's all very relaxed. The service is very friendly. The prices are on the higher side, but absolutely reasonable for what's on offer. Compared to what's available in the surrounding area, the quality and value are outstanding. We've been going here often and happily for years! In the summer, there's an evening market in La Croix-Valmer on Thursdays. It's best to stroll through the market first and then end the evening in the café.

A lovely discovery! Special mention goes to the Caesar salad, which is excellent (with the real dressing that not everyone makes 😅), and the homemade chocolate fondant, which is to die for! The staff and the atmosphere are pleasant; I'll gladly return 😊
