Cafe Z sur Montpellier

A lovely surprise :) There were five adults and one child for lunch. We were seated upstairs, which was small but intimate. The menu choices are simple but very well executed. The flavors were spot on and the prices very reasonable (one steak tartare, one cassoulet, two lasagnas, two veal Milanese, with desserts between €6 and €9 and drinks, the bill came to between €120 and €130 for six people). The young, inexperienced waiter was pleasant; he lacks experience and doesn't yet have the reflexes to conserve energy in this profession (especially with the stairs), but his kindness was very welcome. A great find, we'll be back!

Lunch on a Saturday at noon with the daily special (steak with homemade dauphinoise potatoes) for €15, and homemade dessert (tiramisu) for €6.50. Excellent value for money! We'll be back!

Homemade and fresh products. We had lunch on the sunny terrace and it was delicious. Frankly, the current bill doesn't reflect the true value.

We ordered two daily specials (lunch): veal Milanese with tagliatelle. Very good value for money for the daily special. Very nice place.

The atmosphere is nice, the street is very touristy and lively 😊 I asked for a grenadine syrup and I got a violet syrup... disappointed.

Coke is nice but without hair in the glass it would be better!
