Cale 29 sur Saint-Jean-De-Monts

Excellent. Chef's signature menu: foie gras for my wife, tuna tatakie for me, duck and roasted peach skewers for both of us, and tutti frutti for dessert. Everything was delicious (it's a shame MY knife wasn't sharp), otherwise everything was perfect. The service was also very good.

A warm and professional welcome, quality dishes. We highly recommend it and will definitely return with great pleasure.

A very good restaurant at the Casino. The JOA counter is welcoming, with lovely decor and soft background music. The prices are more than reasonable, and the set menu (starter, main course, dessert) won us over. All the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The service was also excellent, with very friendly and competent staff. And a perfect little birthday surprise! 🤗

The place was very clean, the staff were pleasant and the service was good. The meal was decent and delicious!

The roasted peach dessert is excellent 🤣

The waitress was very professional and welcoming. We were a little disappointed because our aperitifs arrived one or two minutes before the starters. It was a bit of a hassle to rush through our drinks so that those with hot starters could eat them while they were still warm. Despite the small number of customers, it seemed like the kitchen was struggling. The next table also had a problem with a mix-up with the starters and main courses.

Last night we stumbled upon the casino. The waitresses seated us on the terrace by moving a table. The meal was exquisite. The service was pleasant, friendly, and very professional. The foie gras sauce was wonderfully balanced. It was a real pleasure to dine there. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely go back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had already visited two years ago and had very fond memories of it. This recent visit confirmed our first impression! We were lucky enough to have lunch on the terrace, overlooking the sea: a magnificent and very pleasant setting. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. The waiters and waitresses were smiling, professional, attentive, and very friendly. A truly wonderful experience from beginning to end. We will gladly return on our next visit!

The setting at Comptoir de Joa is pleasant and the establishment is well-maintained, which gave us a very good first impression. However, we were disappointed by our experience. The quality of the food did not live up to our expectations, both in terms of taste and overall service. Furthermore, the service was quite slow at the beginning: we waited a good while before anyone came to take our order. After that, everything moved very quickly, with our aperitif and our order being taken almost simultaneously, which was not very pleasant.

We ordered a fish dish and a meat dish; both were cooked very well, but the plates were a little lukewarm and the fries were slightly overcooked. Nevertheless, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. This didn't stop us from having a pleasant evening.
