18/08/2026: Excellent food and very good service; the prices may seem high, but the food is excellent and quality is worth it. Dining in the traditional thatched cottage is a real bonus. A minor drawback is the chairs, which are very old and worn, as after an hour your back starts to ache 😉

02/09/2026: The staff were very pleasant from start to finish, and the galettes were excellent. You can tell the ingredients are carefully prepared and cooked with a genuine desire to please the customers. The non-alcoholic cocktails were also very good, and I had ice cream for dessert, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The fries were a little thick, but they were homemade. However, be aware that some of the ceiling lights in the walkway can be a bit of a surprise if you're not paying attention, as the restaurant has a slope. I should mention that we went at the end of the season and quite early in the morning, so we had no trouble getting a table. PS: The price range given is for a main course and dessert; we ordered drinks separately, so it was closer to €35 per person.

01/09/2026: Warm welcome and quick service despite it being the end of the season. We had galettes (savory buckwheat crepes) for our main course and dessert, plus an aperitif and a pitcher of cider. We were completely full by the end of the meal, all for 75 euros for two. The price-quality ratio is quite reasonable considering the current economic climate.

02/08/2026: Le Clousis is a great little restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. The chef cooks beautifully and the presentation is lovely. The servers are friendly, pleasant, attentive, and respectful. And the owner is incredibly welcoming. Basically, the whole team is wonderful. We go there from June until they go on holiday. P.S.: We had waited 40 minutes at another establishment just before, only to be told they were out of mussels...

06/09/2026: We had dinner there on a Sunday evening. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and was nicely decorated. The waitress was pleasant and smiling. We had a very good meal. I recommend this restaurant.

I chose the €45 menu, which met my expectations with every course. The freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the flavors were exceptional, creating a refined and memorable culinary experience. The restaurant's greatest strength undoubtedly lies in its responsive service. The waitstaff is attentive and friendly, ensuring that each customer feels welcomed and well taken care of. 13/09/2026: Note that even though the quality was there, the price didn't reflect it. We paid 70 euros for two people and left hungry. Six sardines at most, a small pot of fries for my husband. I had mussels with Roquefort cheese; the quantity and quality were fine, but the small pot of homemade fries was a bit much. The real kicker was the 1-liter plastic bottle of Evian for 6 euros, plus the carafe of wine, which wasn't cheap. A shame, because the service was decent.

05/09/2026: Excellent restaurant! The dishes (mussels) and dessert (chocolate fondant, to die for!) were perfect! The waitresses were very friendly. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to the area.

17/08/2026: Fantastic experience. We had dinner there on the evening of the eclipse. The staff was pleasant, the service efficient, and the food superb. We were pleasantly surprised by the foie gras crème brûlée as a starter! A big thank you to you!

16/08/2026: Very average! Very small portions. Carbonara with only four pieces of bacon. A very meager seafood platter. €150 bill and we left hungry. To top it all off, they charged us €5 for a broken glass without even telling us!

15/08/2026: Excellent homemade pizza. No complaints whatsoever. You can clearly see it's homemade with quality ingredients. The presentation is very well done. Since I have food allergies, they didn't hesitate to exchange the items I couldn't eat.

27/07/2026: Excellent food, the lamb skewer was cooked to perfection! The fries were very good (we would have liked a few more 😅). The pollock fillet with linguine was also very well prepared. A real treat with a very friendly team! I highly recommend it!

26/07/2026: I came here by chance with my grandson and was pleasantly surprised. The servers were excellent—very friendly, smiling, and polite. The food was plentiful and delicious. The interior decor was very nice. It's a refreshing change from the dozens of pizzerias in Saint Jean de Monts.

22/08/2026: Great experience! I had previously done other catamaran courses at other sailing centers, but this one was the best. I've never learned so much in a week. The instructors are very friendly and adapt easily to different levels. In short, a very good course!
